“I finally got to Victoria Secrets today after school. I had to take my wife’s car up to Bob McClement’s Chevy, so I went to Eastland Mall after I dropped it off and got a loaner.
I got the things for YOU and my birthday gift for YOU. I was unable to get fitted for a bra, there were too many people around.
I tried to get a clerk away by herself but was unable to accomplish this. After I got YOUR things I went to Margy Bryant (sp?) to see if I could get a bra there but I couldn’t get a clerk to approach me after browsing for about a half hour.
There was a store security guard in a uniform who seemed to follow me around the whole time I was in there. Every time I looked up he was across from me watching me.
I didn’t want to ask one of the clerks to help me find a bra with him watching. I did find some large feminine tops that I would like to go back and buy. One was a dark plum colour and had Princess in shiny silver across the front.
Another
Was black and sleeveless with silver studs down the sides and said Supper Diva Girls Rule across the front. When I left there I went to Lazarus and bought myself a lipstick and nail polish I also got the free gift which I will send to YOU if YOU would like.
It has two lipsticks and I don’t know what else in it. The girl who waited on me tried to steer me toward body lotion and skin products telling me that it was very difficult to buy lipstick and make up for a woman.
I finally told her that I was supposed to buy a pink lipstick and nail polish. She kind of looked at me funny and asked me if I was being tested?
I said yes it was a test. Then she began showing me pink lipsticks and asking me about “her” complexion and
hair colour.
I finally told her that it was for me and that I needed to wear it out of the store. She raised her eyebrow and said you must have really made her angry and must really be in trouble.
Then I told her that I was supposed to get fitted for a bra but was buying the lipstick and nail polish and wearing them
instead.
She said that she thought it was a wise choice. She picked out a Champaign lipstick and the matching Champaign nail polish. Then she gave me a card with her name and the store number on it and told me when I needed to buy “myself” or “her” more cosmetics to ask for her or I could even call and tell her what I needed and she would have it ready for me when I came in to pick it up.
She even applied the lipstick for me and told me good luck as I left. I went to a table by the food court and applied the nail polish and then left. I have to take the loaner back tomorrow, but I am pretty broke right now or I would consider going back
to the makeup counter and Elane Bryant’s.
I am going to Cleveland on Sunday to see my oldest son who is in college up here. I will be going through Columbus at about 2;30 or 3:00 PM. Could I call YOU on my cell phone when I do?
I would really like another assignment, but I don’t have much money now. I know, I am so stupid to even ask.
